IRRIGATION EQUIPMENT AND SOILS

The irrigation pump was converted to electric power in 2015. The pivot irrigation system is a (8) tower Pierce with a 125 hp US Electric motor installed in 2015 and Sargent irrigation pump.

Registered NE Irrigation well G-062146 with 138.7 Upper Republican NRD certified irrigated acres was drilled 1979 to 415’. This well is currently pooled with other wells of the Seller. The well will be removed from the pool prior to closing.

An efficiency test was completed in March of 2013.The 2013 efficiency test indicated a pumping level of 228’ and 742 gpm flow. The test results are available by clicking the tab below:

At the beginning of the 2024 growing season the irrigation well had 47.7” of allocation left for the current allocation period which runs from 2023-2027. The well has 35.64” of carryforward.

Soils under the east pivot are 44% Class II Haxtun and Satanta fine sandy loam and 34% Class III Satanta very fine sandy loam and 17% Class IV Valent loamy sand.

Additionally, all of the pivot corners of the farm are tillable non-irrigated cropland.
